Varivax Vaccine
Career Pro Health Services offers Varivax vaccine shot injections in the Memphis area. These shots are quick and easy to administer and can be given at your convenience.
The vaccine Varivax (varicella vaccine) is used for preventing chickenpox. It is a live attenuated vaccine that contains the living virus. The virus has been altered in such a way that it does not actually cause disease. However, the body's immune system still responds to it, providing future protection from the disease.
Varivax is given as two separate doses, at least one to three months apart (depending on the age of the individual). The vaccine is given subcutaneously (just under the skin) on the upper arm. It can be given to children older than 12 months, adolescents, and adults. Individuals who have already had chickenpox do not need to get Varivax.

The Hepatitis A vaccine is used to help prevent infection from the hepatitis A virus. Hepatitis A infection can be mild with no symptoms or a severe illness that can rarely cause liver failure and death. Preventing infection can prevent these problems. Hepatitis A vaccine is made from whole, killed hepatitis A virus. It does not contain live virus, so you cannot get hepatitis from the vaccine. The vaccine is recommended for people aged 12 months and older, especially those at an increased risk of getting the infection.
Career Pro Health Services offers fast and descreet service for Hep A vaccination injection. Call for more information or for pricing and appointments.
Hepatits B Vaccine
Hepatitis B is a serious disease that affects the liver. It is caused by the hepatitis B virus (HBV). HBV can cause:
Acute (short-term) illness. This can lead to loss of appetite, diarrhea and vomiting, tiredness, jaundice (yellow skin or eyes), pain in muscles, joints, and stomach. Acute illness is more common among adults. Children who become infected usually do not have acute illness.
Chronic (long-term) infection. Some people go on to develop chronic HBV infection. This can be very serious, and often leads to liver damage (cirrhosis), liver cancer and death. Chronic infection is more common among infants and children than among adults. People who are infected can spread HBV to others, even if they don’t appear sick.
Hepatitis B vaccine can prevent hepatitis B, and the serious consequences of HBV infection, including liver cancer and cirrhosis. Career Pro Health Services provides cheap, confidential and fast service for Hep B vaccine injection shots.

Tuberculosis Vaccine
Tuberculosis is caused by the bacterium Mycobacterium tuberculosis. It is generally spread in mucus droplets coughed out by infected people. Most people with tuberculosis show no symptoms at the time of infection. TB kills more people in the world than does any other infection.
The most common form of tuberculosis affects the lungs. Two forms of tuberculosis that become life-threatening are:
- Miliary TB, which means the bacteria have spread throughout the lungs and into the bloodstream
- TB meningitis (infection of the coverings of the spinal cord and/or brain by TB bacteria)
The TB vaccine is given as a shot; one dose is required. Infants may receive the vaccine soon after birth, or later, but preferably before exposure to persons with active tuberculosis. Those who receive the vaccine may still develop TB, but approximately 80% of recipients are protected from developing life-threatening forms of the disease, such as miliary disease and meningitis (inflammation of the brain).
This vaccine is recommended by:
- Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
- American Academy of Pediatrics
- American Thoracic Society
